Ted and Brian Wickersham purchased Mid Continent Trucking on September 1, 1998, when it was comprised of five company and three owner-operator trucks. We are continuing to build on the excellent reputation earned by the employees of Mid Continent Trucking due to their years of dedicated hard work and superior customer service.
Mid Continent Trucking offers customers time-sensitive, truckload transportation of refrigerated meat, food products, and dry freight. While our area of operation is primarily the Midwest region within an 800-mile radius of Omaha, NE, we do run outside of this area as required to meet customer needs. We plan to continue to grow in a financially sound and controlled manner.
Our employees, whether they are a driver, mechanic, dispatcher, or office clerk, are all part of a chain that, if broken, loses the entire integrity of our unique system of day-to-day business. We feel that every one of our employees should be treated the same way we (the owners) would want to be treated. It is an old trait that was passed down from our father, and we still believe in his philosophy today. If you talk to our employees, you will find that a large percentage of them have worked for us for years, not months.
